Vashon Loop vol. 22 #5--in color
This issue starts an experiment where some of the paper will feature color. (Extra hassles for this editor, CMYK, am I right?) It’s an experiment, but we had several photos which just _begged_ for their color presentation. So let us know what you think!
The reader PDF is now being generated in “ebook” resolution; we tried “screen” last month and it’s just a little bit too grainy for some tastes. But almost none of you really want offset printing CMYK tiff’s clogging up your PDF reader, so hopefully what you see this month will be pleasing.
What will you read? We have two articles touching on Ukraine, courtesy of an amazing young Ukrainian woman. We also give you the true, deep story on the Door Fence in the alley behind the Village Green. An update on our state politicians and what they have in mind. How to make your own mayonnaise, Dogs, two views on astrology, native plants, natural health, and lots more.
We actually ended up so far out over our skis that two fantastic columns didn’t even fit. Issue #6 is thus a lock on the quality content.
